Today Transpire announces it has signed a deal to be acquired by CI&T, a Brazilian-founded and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) listed digital specialist group.
Founded in 2009 by CEO Josh Guest and Chair Luke Smorgon, Transpire has grown steadily to become one of Australia’s most trusted and recognised technology consultancies. With our design-led, mobile-first, cloud-native approach, Transpire has become the technology partner of choice for some of Australia’s largest and most innovative organisations, and have won multiple awards for our digital transformation projects.
“We’re proud to have scaled a business offering valuable digital services over 13 years. One of the founding principles of Transpire has been ambition – to take Transpire to the world, to accelerate our impact and achieve our north star vision.” said CEO Josh Guest.
Transpire was approached by CI&T, a global digital specialist group founded in Brazil, as they looked to expand their presence in the Asia Pacific region. CI&T (Collaborate, Innovate & Transform) and Transpire (Transform & Inspire) share a commitment to building technology that improves people’s lives, to advocating for universal design and accessibility, and for creating a leading workplace culture that attracts the best and brightest talent.
Josh spoke about what it was about CI&T that saw these talks progress. “We’ve been approached many times over the years and it was never something we were interested in. But we just clicked with CI&T – we see eye to eye on so many things, particularly our values and our people-first culture.”
Chair and co-founder Luke Smorgon said: “The acquisition by CI&T provides an excellent outcome for all stakeholders, and unlocks a significant ability to expand the services we provide our clients and opportunities for our team to tap into the global resources and experience of CI&T.”
Joining the global CI&T family will see Transpire rapidly accelerate on its mission to weave humanity into technology. CI&T has a presence in 9 countries and is home to more than 6,400+ professionals in strategy, data science, design, and engineering.
With the backing of the CI&T global talent network, Transpire is now able to accelerate the development of key solutions for customers in Australia – such as cloud automation and managed services. Transpire team members will also benefit from ready access to this global talent network, with huge opportunities for learning, exchange and growth.
Felipe Rubim is CI&T’s APAC Vice President, based in Brisbane. Like Josh, he sees huge potential for both clients and team members with Transpire joining CI&T. “With Transpire, our clients will benefit from a comprehensive suite of end-to-end digital capabilities in addition to enhanced regional expertise. As a people-first organisation, there are tremendous opportunities for growth for our collective employees as well as the incredibly diverse and talented pool of professionals in the region we are looking to tap into.”
As part of the global CI&T family, Transpire’s strategy and vision are even closer. We will continue to deliver stellar digital experiences for major organisations with our diverse and expert global teams.
